Choosing a WayPoints Navigation Chart versus a Financial Map

WayPoints Financial Services will help navigate and chart your financial journey. Most financial coaches will try to map out a route, but won’t take into consideration that maps are static and cannot be used to plot a personalized course. WayPoints Financial Services will analyze your unique financial situation and plot your course according to your specific needs. Your detailed course will not mirror anyone else’s.

A WayPoints Navigation Chart, like a nautical chart, has special and unique characteristics including a very detailed and accurate representation of a specific course of action to take that will help you reach each of your Financial WayPoints in the shortest time possible. Unlike many coaches, we will take into account the varying levels of fixed, variable and periodic expenses, critical to accurate financial navigation.

A Financial Map, like a nautical map, is a graphical representation of a relative position and is predetermined. It assumes that all people need to follow the same sequence of steps in order to reach their financial destination. Additionally, It only represents superficial information and does not consider the deeper underlying issue.

A WayPoints Navigation Chart is a working plan that is dynamic and is used by our financial navigators to plot a course to navigate in order to follow a clear sequence of Financial WayPoints. It takes into account special considerations to navigate safely, such as debt to income ratio, family needs, economic class, household dynamics and level of financial literacy. Financial WayPoints are identified to indicate relative position on your financial journey and are coordinate points at which a specific action must be implemented.

A Financial Map is a static plan which serves as a reference guide. A map is not, and cannot be used to plot a financial journey. Rather it provides a predetermined course, usually a roadmap or path to be followed by everyone regardless of their situation. Special consideration for individualism is rarely a concern. Further, financial maps provide predetermined points that limit choice of direction and opportunity.

A WayPoints Navigation Chart takes into consideration the hidden details and financial issues below the surface that are not normally visible without profiling and understanding client attributes, which is very critical to understand for efficient and effective financial navigation.

A Financial Map merely indicates a surface path that does not account for individual client situations. For instance, a map will not take into account the many variables that exist with client needs, expectations and abilities.
